Every week, we collect and feature the outstanding submissions to our gallery. If you're looking for quality literature to read, start here!

Each item is hand-picked by our admins and presented with a small introduction (we think this makes browsing literature easier). We don't seek perfection: we just choose interesting work and share it for critique, appreciation and encouragement.

Our last batch of new features was two weeks ago now, so we're making sure you get your reader's word count up with two longer deviations in Who Killed The Giants? and I Knew You'd Come Back For Me, both with the opportunity for further reading. And for poetry fans, how about something deliciously morbid in Rich Man's Boxes?

This Week's Features!

Who Killed The Giants? by laurotica

Ian has spent 20 years searching for something that may never return.

This prologue for laurotica's latest endeavour clearly establishes her characters and builds plenty of intrigue for the future - important qualities for any prologue. Want to read more? Make your feelings known!

I Knew You'd Come Back For Me by EmmyIsAZebra

In a world full of demons, Haden knows something's just not right when he takes the new girl to investigate the home of a child who was once possessed.

One for urban fantasy fans, EmmyIsAZebra has some great banter between characters in this latest addition to her series The Job. But if you're afraid of commitment, it still reads perfectly as a standalone story.

Rich Man's Boxes by eluvinari

A morbid poem featuring death and cannibalism.

Some great lines and a wicked ending attracted us to this poem, just watch for the change in perspective. You can see the original version of this in eluvinari's gallery.
