End of July Discussion

Well, folks, we've reached the end of July, and with it, the end of Flash Fiction Month, and also the end of Camp NaNoWriMo.

Tell us, did you participate in either (or both) of these events?

:bulletpink: Which event did you participate in?

:bulletpink: Was this your first time participating, or are you a veteran?

:bulletpink: What was your overall experience?

:bulletpink: Do you feel like you've profited for the experience? What did you learn?

:bulletpink: Would you do it again?

:bulletpink: What advice would you give to anyone considering taking part in either FFM or Camp NaNo next year?

What was love and doves and fingertips"

Will Storr vs the Supernatural

By Will Storr

Will Storr has done some seriously bizarre and otherworldly things over the course of his career as a journalist. But nothing was as frightening as when he agreed to follow Philadelphia "demonologist" Lou Gentile on his appointed rounds.

This creative non-fiction piece uses real experiences and interviews to showcase Storr's sense of humor for the other worldly. The result is a confirmed cynic's (and proud of it!) dedicated search for answers in a shadowy world of séances, mediums, devil worshippers—even the Vatican's chief exorcist.

Have you read a great book recently? Drop us a note and we'll recommend it in the next Round-up.

Way late, but thank you so much for the feature! It's nice that so many people have enjoyed a little bit of my writing. I still wanted to express my thanks, I'm hoping to get back into my writing soon. Again, thanks!
